Occupation
Communications Officer for the Business and Financial Management Community (BFMC) at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Initiate, develop and disseminate communiqués, update and manage the information posted on our website, and organize quarterly communication day events. Serve as the department's change management agent, and senior staff member; develop briefs for the department head, write reports, answer data calls, and support command-wide initiatives.

Career Goals
Short-term career goal: finish masters degree in contemporary communications and apply that training to improve job performance. During this past year, our department has been recognized for its high morale and sense of community, and is regularly commended for its effective communication practices and products.

Long-term career goal: develop a freelance business before retiring to explore: fiction writing, making handmade paper, creating mixed media collages, herbal products, garden art and sea glass art.
