New Communication
I am a native of Baltimore, Maryland. I received my early education in the Baltimore City Public School System. After completing my primary education, I attended Morgan State University for secondary education. At Morgan, I studied English with a concentration on Literature and Language, and in May of 2006, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. The following year, I began teaching 9th grade English at Edmondson-Westside High School in Baltimore City. I decided to continue my education by pursuing a graduate degree. So, in the fall of 2009, I began working toward my Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Communication at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Now, in my second semester at CND, I am taking the CST 515 Technology and Communication course, as part of my requirements for this program. Even though, I am currently employed as a document preparer at the Baltimore Data Capture Center working for the US CENSUS 2010, my ultimate career goal is to be an editor of a textbook.
I am a very active person. I have many hobbies including:
- first and foremost, spending time with my beautiful son;
- playing cards;
- singing;
- dancing (liturgical);
- playing softball;
- cooking, and eating;
- shooting pool;
- bowling; and, most importantly,
- sleeping.
