I graduated from Morgan State University with a BS degree in Communication Studies and a concentration in Public Relations. I also held a minor in Marketing.

I have been employed by the Maryland State Government for the past 10 years. There I am responsible for the operations of the Communications Department. I am currently looking to expand my duties to assist in the Financial Education department. In addition, I run a Planning & Consulting Firm called The PeauBrune Group and a fun & frivilous blog knows as Cocktail Our.

I am pursuing a master's degree to develop myself into a one-woman brand. I would like my clients to have the ability to utilize my services for all of their communications needs. To do this, I need to learn the functions of the entire communications process, including web design, global communications, planning campaigns and a host of other services. Eventually, I would like to write for a sitcom or comedy show. Quite a stretch from the current road that I'm traveling. However, if you knew me, it wouldn't seem so strange.
