and M.S. in Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science in Seoul National University in 1998 and 1990.

I am currently an assistant professor of Computer Studies Department at College of Notre Dame, Maryland.

I worked for Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology and Samsung Electronic Co. until I came to the US in 1996. I worked at LAMP with Daniel DeMenthon for "Event Detection in Compressed Video Data" in 1998-2000. Since 2001, I was involved in CVL working in VACE project with David Harwood and Yaser Yacoob under Prof. Larry Davis.
