About Me

I am a 30 year old graduate student at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland (CND). I am enrolled in CST 515 Technology and Communication, as part of the requirements for a master's degree in Contemporary Communication. I completed my undergraduate degree at CND too in May 2000. I got married on July 29, 2006 and gave birth to a baby boy on February 11, 2008.

Where I Work and My Career Goals

I am the Communications Director for the Maryland State Board of Elections (SBE). I have been working for SBE for 4 1/2 years. Even though I love what I do for SBE, commuting 50 miles one way is difficult. With that said, I have decided to try to find a position closer to home. I am currently seeking a new state position with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) as a Marketing and Advertising Specialist. I interviewed for the job on September 25, 2008 and should know if I got the job on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.
