Hello, I am Nicole Horwath and I will be graduating College of Notre Dame in May 2010. I chose to do my graduate degree here because I enjoyed doing my undergraduate years here. I graduated Notre Dame in 2006 with a BA in International Studies, with a concentration in Business and Italian, and a minor in Economics. During my undergrad years, I lived at home with my parents in Essex and worked for my uncle's clothing store, "Gallo Clothing," in Highlandtown. However, when I entered campus, I did not come alone. My twin sister, Natalie, also came to Notre Dame and she received a Business Finance/Management Degree in 2006. Ironically, both of us are currently going for our Masters degrees, in the same program, at Notre Dame and we are graduating together this May. Both of us will be receiving a Masters in Management with a concentration in Information Systems.

On April 25,2009, I got married in the chapel here on campus. The pictures were beautiful and everyone was impressed with the campus. I am so happy that I chose to have my wedding at Notre Dame.

Currently, I work for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management in the Federal Investigative Services Division at Fort Meade, Maryland. I work with background investigations. I started at OPM in June 2008. I really enjoy what I do and my career goals are to stay working for the government and to eventually be in a leadership position. However, I still have a lot to learn in my current position, so it will take some time.

My husband, Tim, and I live in White Marsh, Maryland with our dog Abbey. For now, she is our child. She is a German Shephard and Australian Shephard mix. She is very smart and spoiled. We adopted her from a rescue and we are very happy that we did.
