I recently graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland this past May 2009 double majoring in Marketing Communications and Spanish. My major was a self-design program combining both business and communication courses in order to provide me with the specialized degree I desired. While completing my undergraduate degree I was involved in playing soccer and tennis for my college sports teams. Sports have been a very important part of my life since I was very young. I was a captian for both sports teams and had many wonderful awards. During my four years at college I acquired many scholastic and extra-curicular achievements.
I went on to graduate school at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland pursuing the Contemporary Communications Master's program. Presently I am working as a graduate assistant for Student Development at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in order to help further my education. At the moment I am pursuing a master's degree and exploring my options. My two main career interests are in Sports and Art industries. I have a profound passion for art and hope to find a professional career in this field. Looking back at past internships, I realize that those relating to art have been my most memorable. Two of my favorite jobs included working as an apprentice artist and at an art gallery. I hope to find a place in the professional work environment not only to help me become independent but to make a contribution to my community through art.
